Week 2, Saturday Afterparty + Sunday!
[ Three total losses...
With the air heavier and gloomier than before, Goro's feeling... much more restless. So, about an hour after the games have ended, he can be found in the kitchen. He'll recruit anyone who comes in (that he knows can cook/bake, obvs). He's not... actually doing any cooking, himself, though he does make some coffee and lots of sandwiches.
There is a variety of other dishes (see Saki's toplevel for more items), as well!
Everything is being set up outside, not too far from the pool, and there are blankets on the ground - time for a picnic! ]

Atsushi tilts his head to look at Goro, nodding with a smile still lingering on his lips.]
I am, thanks to Akira-san. He healed me after the game yesterday, so I wasn't in pain very long. Though my muscles were aching a bit after all of that.

[ DEEP BREATH, and then he's forcing it out: ]

That smile falls as Atsushi glances aways slightly into the water, a clear sign of guilt in the face of such a direct question. He can't lie to Goro-- he didn't want to lie to him, after everything.]
I sniffed it out. But I didn't... not know i could? It was an educated guess. The tiger heals most injuries that could kill me. I figured a fatal poison would be dealt with the same way.
[Basically: He didn't have a clue, just a hope it would work.]
But it was better for me to drink it than someone else. At least I had a chance to survive it.

[ There's a bit of a pause...
... But, he very slowly scoots closer. He pauses a moment, and then just. Lightly bonks him on the head.
Goro's expression softens a little after that, his gaze averted. ]
I have no room to judge... but...
[ Ugh... He really has no room to be angry... does he? ]

And then he goes crosseyed for a moment from the bonk. It doesn't hurt, but the face he makes is hilarious to say the least.
Not that anything about Goro's expression right now is funny.]
I'm sorry I worried you... but I'm fine now, I promise. And no one died from that last challenge.
[He reaches up out of the water, resting a hand on Goro's shoulder gently.
....His bare shoulder.

[Akira's eyes flicker to Atsushi's hand but he doesn't look upset or anything.
...if anything, he looks teasingly amused.
He's wearing a pair of trunks and nothing else as he stands by the hot tub.]

... Man, did the water temperature just rise? Because his face is definitely darker. It certainly doesn't lighten when he hears his boyfriend's voice, either. He swallows thickly, looking up at Akira. ]
Akira... [ soft huff as he gives a small, fond smile ] You'd be welcome, even if it was the former.
[ Goro's just going to hold out a hand to help the boyfriend in. ]

Akira takes the offered hand and climbs into the hot tub, thumb stroking over the back of Goro's knuckles.]
You don't need to move, Goro has two sides.
[And Akira will settle on the free one.]

After giving him a small smile of reassurance, he leans over to kiss Akira's cheek, a soft huff-like sigh escaping at that last part. ]
Trying to tell him to hold my hand now?
[ There's the hint of something teasing, though he quickly adds. ]
It's up to him if he wants to.
[ He looks back to Atsushi right after that, his small fond as he reaches out to gently run his fingers through his hair. Thank goodness for the heat from the water... Because, surely, that's where the red face continues to come from. ]

Aaaah, this is a terrible thing to think about right now!
Not that he has much time to think, because then Goro's reaching over to run his hand through his hair, and it feels so nice. He's leaning into that touch as usual, just like a cat might.]
Are you telling me I could hold his hand...?
[It's easier to ask questions like that when Goro is touching him like this, even if it's a little embarrassing as well.]

We talked. You can if you want. ...I wanna say "if you're the kind of degenerate that's into handholding" but I'm not sure anyone but Inaba would get that joke.
[Akira relaxes into the water with a sigh, closing his eyes.]

Which one of you degenerates likes handholding...? [ a beat ] I never understood that - if you say the thing you wanted to say, what's the point of leading up with 'I want to say'...?
[ There's a teasing air. After that, he looks over to Atsushi, holding a hand out for him to take. ]

[But Akira seems okay with it, and Goro seems to want to, and well... that's enough invitation for Atsushi.
He's not sure why they're both okay with it, but he won't be complaining in the least as he reaches out to take Goro's hand with a small, flustered smile.]

There's nothing degenerate about it, that's the joke.
[The down side of the hot tub, by the way, is that the little injection scars on his neck and arm stay white while his skin goes pink from the heat of the water. It makes them a little more visible.]

[ To the degenerate part, Goro nods at Atsushi. His fingers gently curl around the younger man's. ]
There's this... comic, actually, of a lady busting into a room, asking the question I just quoted. I could show it to you, sometime.
[ Yeah, those scars - Goro's giving them a glance, his expression dimming for just a moment, as it's done every time now, but he tries not to draw attention to them. Instead, he presses a very brief kiss to one on his neck. Looking back to Atsushi, he gives a thoughtful hum...
... Eh, what the hell. He's going to very innocently ask: ]

It's because he's watching them both so carefully that he can note the injection marks on Akira's neck. There's a minute change of expression, a hint of realization, because no one injected themselves in their neck... but he won't make a big deal out of it.
After all, there's a reason he's wearing a shirt in the hot tub, as Goro well knows... and he understood how cruel needles could be.
He simply offers Akira a quiet smile before returning his attention to Goro, squeezing his hand a little.
....And then stammering in surprise.]
A-A crush?! Um...
['Anyone'
Hahahaha... hahaha the irony of Goro asking him that is...
Mortifying.]
I-I... maybe? I mean... I don't have a lot of frame of reference.
