Week 2, Friday
Once again, it is Thursday night. The nightly patrol goes out, hoping to prevent any murders that may occur on this night. Though many sleep, a few wander around, catching the eye of a camera here and there. The night is tense, and it can be seen in how rigid everyone's shoulders are. If there is to be a murder, it will be tonight.
Leo is one of those individuals wandering around. He is nervous this week, thanks to a particular incident that spooked him on Monday. While he did get calmed down at the time, he's still nervous. What if he comes across Ingway like that again? Will he freeze up like he did before?
Though a couple people talked to Ingway as well, so maybe...
Only time will tell.
On the other side of the house, on the backyard porch, is Ingway. He is sitting on the edge of the porch there and looking up at the stars, contemplating a series of events that had happened this week. So much has happened in such a little amount of time, and it has drastically changed a huge part of his life. Where does he go from here? What does he do with the time he has been given? There is no easy answer for that.
There is, however, an easy answer for what comes next.
The back door opens, and Leo steps out. Ingway, having heard the door open, quickly glances in that direction, which in turn startles Leo. Recognition and fear fill Leo's eyes, and he's torn on what to do. Should he stay? Should he run? It IS Thursday night, and Ingway has proven himself to be dangerous. But he's also been helped by so many people, so is he really still dangerous?
But after a long pause, Ingway's face shifts to a small, warm smile, and he pats the edge of the porch near him. Leo glances around, and then hesitantly takes the offer and moves to sit down with Ingway.
Their conversation isn't audible, they are just barely too far away from a microphone. But whatever it is they talk about, they're out there for a good half-hour, and by the end of it both men are smiling. Rather than fighting, it seems they have managed to talk out their problems, and the night passes with no deaths.

((Just as before, only people outside of the round can see this. Characters within the round will only know about it if Leo and Ingway tell anyone.))

(which he doubted, who the hell would want to cone near him?)
however, when his ability does go off, he has a moment of confusion— what’s going to push him? how can he dodge it? from the way it starts, it seems to be like some sort of rope, but...invisible?
oda tries to move away regardless, jumping away like a frightened cat—but it’s not enough, and he ends up being shoved face first into the pool. ]

oda’s not the type to pull her in while she’s unsuspecting, but he did fall in with some of his balloons sooooo she might just be getting a balloon thrown at her back. ]

Her first instinct is to use her cantus, but she... doesn't, instead leaving her to get hit with a splash of cyan dye with a short shriek.
Well.
Still worth it.]

he stays inside the pool, but with his body resting on the edge—he even takes his shirt off, because what’s the point of wearing a soaked t-shirt. ]
Seems like they found the guy over there.

I wasn't planning to look for him anyway.
no subject
Really? They all seem to be having fun over there.

[ ???? ]
I guess it could’ve been fun. Too bad.

You're really dense, aren't you?
[The blush has faded by now; her tone's just dry at this point.]

[ he’s silent for a while, thinking. ]
Are...you interested in me?

Part of her can't believe she's saying this, but the other part of her realized long ago that this is probably the only way.]
Yes.
[She has a headache already.]

[ oda.exe has stopped working. ]

That’s— if you really—[ focus, oda ] Are you sure?

Do you really think I'd say something like this if I wasn't?
[Geeze.]

[ why isn’t someone drowning him yet? ]
I just remember whats-his-name saying something about this. The last time we talked.

......
Okay, that part's news to her.]
What?!
no subject
[ okay at least her surprise makes him feel a little less embarrassed. ]
He said that after Giriko and I did what we did. Told me that I could do better, with either him or, well, [ he pauses, unable to look at her. ] with you. So he must have figured...something...

Wherever Doezai is, she is locating him to give him a glare.]

Ignoring that... what do you think?
And don't give me something about deserving things or not.

he thinks about it for a while, actually trying to keep himself from saying exactly that. ]
I do. Of course I do.
