Six weeks.

They had been here for that long, and still...the game was continuing.
Yet, it felt like they were finally about to reach the end of it...
Just a little longer. 🗈

Still, things were just the same as they had been the past few weeks.

The goats and servants were still around, and so too were the witches.
Yet, it felt like this week would be the week they would finally get all the pieces to the puzzle.
But...could they solve it?

Only time would tell.

Maybe it's because we're friends?

... Friends? Is that what it is?

[His mind whispers that it might be Syaroan coming through. But that's not fair to Caim and it's cruel to himself]

But either way we can be friends if you want to.

[ Is it Syaoran coming through? Fushigi mystery. Nevertheless, he glances at Takumi with those red eyes of his, peering at him with curiosity. ] ... You would want to be friends with me? [ His mind reels to what he heard on Tuesday. "Happiness reaches all the way to the heart." Is he-? ]

I'd like that.

And for once, he smiles, a little softly. Something that Takumi might see as very familiar on this demon's face, but isn't normal for Caim, himself. ]

I think I would like to try. I do not know how friendship works between demons and humans... or even in general. I will rely on you, for as much as I can.
