Six weeks.

They had been here for that long, and still...the game was continuing.
Yet, it felt like they were finally about to reach the end of it...
Just a little longer. 🗈

Still, things were just the same as they had been the past few weeks.

The goats and servants were still around, and so too were the witches.
Yet, it felt like this week would be the week they would finally get all the pieces to the puzzle.
But...could they solve it?

Only time would tell.

hurry through, the island's calling~

[Shadow seems to have forgotten, or at least moved past, his little dad attack on Erhard and Natsuno this morning. He's dressed more than before, in long sleeves and pants with boots and leather gloves. Shadow finds Natsuno and throws a pair of coveralls and thick gloves at him]

You. Come with me.

[he heads outside. Where are they going...?]

...coveralls? [ Why are you making him dress like this. Even if it's somehow better than he usually does. But despite his protest Natsuno changes and follows in short order.

And he's apparently recovered from last night (and this morning too), because he seems particularly agile right now. He'll wait for Shadow to explain, maybe out of some semblance of apology for his everything at Erhard earlier. ]

[Once they're outside and Natsuno is changed, Shadow will survey the damage left by that hellhound in Holmes' skin and Moriarty before turning to look at Natsuno]

I don't know why it didn't occur to me sooner, but-- you and I have our powers back. The forest is dangerous... I think something may be hidden out here. And if we get into trouble, I can teleport us back.

You don't need to tell me twice. [ Grinning at this, in that protagonist sort of way. ]

I ate before too, so I should be able to handle almost anything. And unless it's pitch black, I'll be able to see just fine inside.

NOW WE WAIT FOR MOMS

Let me just do some quick scouting and see if there's anything obvious.

[He crouches, and his back spines glow golden yellow before transforming into his edgy owl wings. He springs into the air with an impressive leap, flapping his wings to get enough altitude to survey the island]
