Six weeks.

They had been here for that long, and still...the game was continuing.
Yet, it felt like they were finally about to reach the end of it...
Just a little longer. 🗈

Still, things were just the same as they had been the past few weeks.

The goats and servants were still around, and so too were the witches.
Yet, it felt like this week would be the week they would finally get all the pieces to the puzzle.
But...could they solve it?

Only time would tell.

Leraje, if we're talking of one of the Seventy-Two. Lucifer and Lilith, Legion, Leonard.

[His brow slightly arches]

And more if we move from Judaeo-Christian origins. Lamia, Ljubi, Lempo, Layak, Loki though he is more God than demon... I see what you are getting at.

[Caarcrinolaas chuckles]

[He pushes back in his chair, closing the book without marking it]

Heh, you're giving me too much credit. Moriarty-san already basically told me the pattern of how these demons work. Just not the name outright. Another demon is just an obvious person to ask.

[Suddenly Caarcrinolaas stands up, his eyes widening, pupils expanding until all the red of his eyes is consumed as he suddenly turns towards Takumi, lips curled - revealing fangs as his form changes until -

A white hound, with red-tinged ears about the size of a bear is staring down at the young man, stalking towards him, black and red wings flicking against it's back]

[he startles, stumbling back. He's no idiot: he's scared. He SMELLS scared.

He keeps talking though]

It's not one of the 72. I looked them up awhile back. I never checked THESE demons' names but... If I had to make an educated guess I'd say they're probably from Hinduism.

[The hound looks at Takumi - as if they weren't conversing pleasantly seconds ago, but like a starving wolf that just found a fawn.

The beast took a step forward - before throwing it's head back into a deep, bone-rattling howl that seem to try to cut through the part of the brain that remembered that humans were once prey]

[Yeah, no... he can't hold his ground at that. With a squeak of terror he bolts-

-but he's not completely without his senses]

Toby! Thursday alarm!!

[He covers his ears as he runs... hope those new canine ears like a sudden piercing tone coming from his headphones]

[NO HE DOES NOT! Caarcrinolaas yelps, pawing at his ears as the alarm pierces the demonic canine's ears. With a shake of his head, the beast stumbles out of the library snarling in rage - sniffing the ground to try to see where Takumi went, before his head perks up - getting summoned to join the rest of the dogs to hunt]
