This was....what happened every friday.
A new body to discover.

But...why was there a scream in the halls...?🗈

It echoed on and on, with the person screaming apparently never needing to stop for breath...

It was a fitting soundtrack to what they'd see today, wasn't it...?
Like what you would hear in hell itself.

So, in the end...they had to search, to find the body and find the clues that would bring them to the killer themselves in tomorrow's trial.

...What kind of horror will they find today?

What kind of death did one of their number face?

And what sort of horrible, heart-rending truth....will be the end result, at the end of this week...?

[....ssssort of? There's definitely a bunch, but you get the feeling Holmes died elswhere...which, considering his body is on the first floor, isn't surprising.

And yes, It does look like the body wheatley's core was using. It looks like it's been smashed under the plate at least twice.]

[Anon wanders in after the body announcement -- there seem to be flurries of activity absolutely everywhere, and the second floor is now even busier. It's also real putrid, and he's actually kind of grateful not to have his real nose, for one. Even with the human-level smell sense he's wrinkling it a little.]

I thought only the goats used this thing... This is a really bad place for this sort of thing.

[He'll crouch next to ex-Wheatley where it's smashed on the floor and reach out to try and pry the board up a bit. How sticky and gross are things. I guess he's getting dirty again even if he's technically not body touching.]

[It's...still kinda sticky and gross from blood, yeah, but mostly all he sees is mangled wheatley body.]

[Well, he’s a strong-ass gremlin so he’s going to make a try at flipping the board away. At least the blood is mostly dry and he’s going to lay it down carefully if successful.

Now: What else can his demon eyes spy in this mess?]

Giving up on that for the time being, he’s going to examine the knifey side of the board. What’s the verdict? Any missing or loose knives or anything else to show how exactly it was used?]

[I mean, it's a board with knives in it. It's pretty clear someone put the knives in the board and then used it as a rudimentary smash trap, since the board itself is decently heavy.]

[Well, the arm is definitely severed at the shoulder joint.

Hell, you can see the ball of the joint sticking out from it, which would be horrifying to anyone if this wasn't anon.]
