WEEK 5 MINGLE - AMARANTHUS
Another trial, another horrible outcome.
This time, it affected so many people...and yet, they still weren't done.
Who would be killed next?
Would they be able...to handle whatever happened?🗈

Still, things were just the same as they had been the past few weeks.
The goats and servants were still around, and so too were the witches.
It was all becoming routine at this point.
Was that a good thing, or a bad one...?
It was...too hard to tell, now...
...Either way, they were now closer to the end.
So, like always...they had to see it through.

"Use the weights provided to balance out the scales. The scale is hidden under the banquet table. The weights are hidden"... And then it turns into a cypher. "va gur frira cynagf va gur onyyebbz."

That was quick. Now for the cypher, given english- Y and B could be L, T, N, S, or O. Let's focus on the "Y" for now.

"va gur frira cynagf va gur onyyebbz.
Nfx zr sbe gur svany onyy."
Does that help us reduce the possibilities for Y a little?
no subject
Y is "L", and gur repeats - I suspect that it's "the". so G, U, R are T, H, and E.
"Va The f e i e a..."
Seven? so that might make F into S, I into V, and A into N... and with the lead up, Va might be "In", so V is I, and confirms A is N.

...Ballroom and ball, maybe?

C... L, A, N, G S...
There is usually a "T" or "G" after "AN" and we know G is a cypher - so we have LANTS. With C as...
[He'll let someone figure that one]

"Ask me for the final ball", right? Or did I miss another possibility?

[Well, time to search the plants for some sort of weights! And leave the talking to someone more competent!]

All together, she finds -
A Yellow weight with a picture of a smiley face on it.
A White weight with a picture of a flower on it.
A Black weight with a picture of a drop of blood on it.
A Green weight with a picture of a drop of water on it.
A Blue weight with a picture of an angry face on it.
An Orange weight with a picture of a black fire on it.
A Red weight with a picture of a Witch's hat on it.
Some of the weights are clearly heavier than others.]
