Another trial, another horrible outcome.

This time, it affected so many people...and yet, they still weren't done.
Who would be killed next?
Would they be able...to handle whatever happened?🗈

Still, things were just the same as they had been the past few weeks.

The goats and servants were still around, and so too were the witches.
It was all becoming routine at this point.
Was that a good thing, or a bad one...?
It was...too hard to tell, now...

...Either way, they were now closer to the end.
So, like always...they had to see it through.

How was she? She didn't...react, really, but that must have been incredibly painful.

[The demon takes her time responding. Her mistress didn't run away so quickly because she wanted everyone to know what was happening, after all. But it's hard to imagine Sakura being anything but genuinely concerned, and... well, Vinea has found her in the position, unusual and somewhat uncomfortable for her, of not feeling qualified to deal with the situation on her own.

She leans close to Sakura and speaks a little more quietly than usual. If nothing else she can avoid anyone else overhearing.]

She was upset. I've never seen her in in such a state.

I'm curious, how long have you known her, Vinea-san? Did you meet her during this game, or...?

She summoned me not long after this game began. I'd never met her before that.
