Another trial, another horrible outcome.

This time, it affected so many people...and yet, they still weren't done.
Who would be killed next?
Would they be able...to handle whatever happened?🗈

Still, things were just the same as they had been the past few weeks.

The goats and servants were still around, and so too were the witches.
It was all becoming routine at this point.
Was that a good thing, or a bad one...?
It was...too hard to tell, now...

...Either way, they were now closer to the end.
So, like always...they had to see it through.

[Ah, there's the newest employee. She wasn't aware he would be arriving today, so since she had just finished tending to the garden, she stayed near the entrance of the mansion, listening. After Ackerly greets some of the guests, Tateyama approaches]

Looks like you will be just fine. You do seem to have a way with handling the guests, as difficult as they may be sometimes.

[Thank goodness, really. They can be a handful]

[ Smiling placidly when she approaches, he gives Tateyama a small nod. ]

Thank you, Miss Tateyama. Is that really true? I had heard that there was a particulary difficult one, but I haven't seen him yet...

There's been a couple that do seem to look down on us...for some reason, the guests consider our employment to be a sign of devilry.

[It's amazing]

I haven't seen a particularly difficult one in a while already...he may have left the island.

[ He laughs just a bit nervously. ]

That's ridiculous.  A demon in the service of our lady? I guess some of the guests have fanciful imaginations. 

[ It's not like. There's another example of a supernatural being right here or anything. ]

Is that so? I hope he enjoyed his stay.

[Tateyama sighs. She doesn't want to admit she's glad one of the rude guests is gone, but...]

I don't think he did. He was complaining about how how he wasn't even invited properly. If he didn't want to be here, then it's good he's not around anymore.

I just hope he didn't anger the Lady.

Some people are just like that, I guess. If that's really how he was, then the island is better without him. [ His smile is a bit too thin here. ]

As do I. Are there any other guests I should be aware of?

...indeed... [You said it, and she's glad. She didn't want to talk too badly of someone who left, but maybe agreeing is okay? It doesn't seem like it would spit in the face of what being a servant is, so it should be okay...hopefully]

The rest are less antagonistic and more...disorderly. These last few weeks I have found them fainting at the Lady's library, and some of them are too concerned about eating random things. You should stay vigilant in case any of them tries something unfortunate.

[She still hasn't gotten over Takumi's sign about not eating from the garden, and that is only going to be reinforced when she finds Takumi guzzling soda from the nozzle

[ It's perfectly okay Tateyama, even servants have to let off steam sometimes. ]

I will. [ A beat. ] I have to ask—eating what?

Two things, more than anything else: plants from the garden and the results of their...work in the kitchen, when some of them try cooking.

[At this rate she's worried they will munch on the poison oaks]

[ Frowning. ]

At least there is a doctor among them, but I fear that he's not particularly tenacious either...

[ Well. At least the guest who used to sleep in the poison oak is gone now. ]
