Another week dawned.

But after the events at the trial, more than a few people would have wanted for time to stop still.

In this game, even unshakable loyalties....could be broken.🗈

If that were the case, then what was stopping even more horrible crimes from happening this thursday night?
And they knew they could do nothing to stop it from happening.

...Still, they had to continue the game, until one or both of the Witches admitted defeat, or the game itself came to a close.

Yet, they also felt as if something might change. Some big reveal felt as if it was just around the corner....but for now, it seemed as if they had to play the waiting game.

No matter how awful that felt.

So, if I'm getting this right, they become a Witch and get frozen the way they are -- but if they ever stop being a Witch, then they get unfrozen and totally kick the bucket right then and there?

No.

For Yuuko-san, she. . . was probably a witch even before her time was frozen. And Kimihiro's time was frozen even before he became a proper witch as well, I'm fairly certain. It wasn't that Yuuko-san stopped being a witch. She needed to start her time again, to stop the wish of keeping her alive forever. Because everyone has to die at some point, after all. Even witches as well.

In spite of their longevity.

So they're Witches, but they also got their time frozen separately from that.

[He hums, all of this is just deeply confusing to him because what even are Witches and magic. He can roll with a lot but it gets so weirdly complicated sometimes.]

Why does everyone have to die at some point, anyway? Especially if you could just keep going, like a Witch can.

How do they do that, anyway? Is it some kind of spell, or some kind of wish, or do they just wake up one day and realize that time kind of stopped...
