Another week dawned.

But after the events at the trial, more than a few people would have wanted for time to stop still.

In this game, even unshakable loyalties....could be broken.🗈

If that were the case, then what was stopping even more horrible crimes from happening this thursday night?
And they knew they could do nothing to stop it from happening.

...Still, they had to continue the game, until one or both of the Witches admitted defeat, or the game itself came to a close.

Yet, they also felt as if something might change. Some big reveal felt as if it was just around the corner....but for now, it seemed as if they had to play the waiting game.

No matter how awful that felt.

[ You'd think these would be easy enough to find and yet here we are. ]

There might be some leftover onigiri in the fridge... there might be some orange juice in there, too? [ He'll actually gesture at said fridge. ]

Guess that's good enough. [ Rooting around in the fridge...... orange juice procured! ]


What kind of onigiri are these?

They're mostly tuna and salmon, actually.

[ Ah there they are. Thinking, thinking as he picks up one of them and examines it. ]

Do they have a lot of iron?

[excavated]

Salmon and tuna have some, but not a lot. Why?

[ Looking at Syaoran, blinking. ]

I'm not getting enough in my diet.

[excavated]

Oh.

Hm. . . do you have a preference between beef or chicken?

[sotoshini]

...beef.

[ A beat. ]

You cook for everyone, don't you?

[excavated]

If I can, yes. I don't mind doing it, since it's something I can do. [ But if he says beef, he'll start making some gyudon. ]

[ Standing off to the side to let him get to work. ]

I guess you don't get bored of helping people then.

[excavated]

I don't, actually. And more importantly. . . it's better than doing nothing. Everyone has to eat, after all.

[sotoshini]

[ Chuckling at that. ]

We do. It's probably more useful than doing patrols or whatever.

Yeah. It won't stop things from happening, after all. There has to be another way.
