WEEK 4 - VENUS FLYTRAP
Another week dawned.
But after the events at the trial, more than a few people would have wanted for time to stop still.
In this game, even unshakable loyalties....could be broken.🗈

If that were the case, then what was stopping even more horrible crimes from happening this thursday night?
And they knew they could do nothing to stop it from happening.
...Still, they had to continue the game, until one or both of the Witches admitted defeat, or the game itself came to a close.
Yet, they also felt as if something might change. Some big reveal felt as if it was just around the corner....but for now, it seemed as if they had to play the waiting game.
No matter how awful that felt.

[ so, you know, like
cookiegojira. ]They're different from youkai, but some would just classify all of them as "monsters" anyway.
no subject
[Granted, he doesn't know all the differences between those either, but it's the thought that counts.]
So did you get to fight the kaiju, or were you just there for the paintings?
no subject
[ who ended up naked and unconscious and might have been the kaiju? a n y w a y ]
It was a long time ago, so the details are a little fuzzy now.

[He has no frame of reference for anyone else and also, wow, do people end up naked a lot in her canon or what.]
Hahaha, you've probably got an exciting life if beast attacks are easy to forget about.
no subject
[ I THINK JUST JIRO AND KIKKO... and a hot monster but she's always naked. ]
I guess that's probably fair. That was far from the only beast attack, and then we had fighting between superhumans too, or between superhumans and the government.

[Where did that come from. Then again she already knows his world's idea of God, so.]
I guess I should have asked you for a fight earlier! It would be real interesting to see what a youkai can do, even when sealed. [you've possibly made a mistake revealing the conflict-laden state of your world to him] In the meantime, though, you should tell me all about Jiro!
[Carte blanche to gush about your S.O., go for it.]

I'm afraid I'd probably disappoint you; I don't often fight anyone directly. I usually have other youkai helping me.
[ Boy, there is a lot to say about Jiro... It's hard to condense 20+ years of a complicated relationship into anything less than an essay, so she's going to keep this pretty surface-level. ]
Jiro... He's a dangerous person with a lot of power, but he still considers himself a human.
[ So you can guess now who she was talking about that other time. ]
He desperately wants to believe in justice and the power of superhumans to do good in the world. He's naive in a lot of ways, but some of that is our fault for keeping so many secrets from him.

[It's possible that he'd be perfectly happy to fight just about every single person here, or at least prod at them in a vaguely conflict-related exercise. He seems fairly happy to switch gears, though, so maybe he'll forget about it eventually.
He listens with his usual curiosity to the rest, though it sharpens a little because he does recognize the topic, just a bit.]
Ah -- so Jiro was human-shaped, so he considered himself a human... but he was also a superhuman or something, right? [he can kind of grok the terminology to an extent] Though I don't get it, why would you keep secrets from him? Was it that hard to get him up to speed with the rest of the world...?
[He's not trying to drag anyone, specifically, but this is just kind of how he processes things.]
