Another week dawned.

But after the events at the trial, more than a few people would have wanted for time to stop still.

In this game, even unshakable loyalties....could be broken.🗈

If that were the case, then what was stopping even more horrible crimes from happening this thursday night?
And they knew they could do nothing to stop it from happening.

...Still, they had to continue the game, until one or both of the Witches admitted defeat, or the game itself came to a close.

Yet, they also felt as if something might change. Some big reveal felt as if it was just around the corner....but for now, it seemed as if they had to play the waiting game.

No matter how awful that felt.

[Erhard's hanging back again, already on his second cup of coffee on an empty stomach. When he hears Ann mention a "good natured wager," he almost chokes on the sip he's taking and his brows pinch together in quiet anger.]

There's nothing good natured about this. People are dying.

[Ann looks a little surprised at that, but then she knits her eyebrows together, and frowns.]

Do you think I don't know that, Erhard?

But that doesn't matter, because they see it differently. I assume the human side of Watanuki knows this is wrong, but does the witch side?

[He likes Ann, but if she's angry with him, it's not a bad thing.]

If my vision was right, Nirrti losing is a potential disaster, especially if she dies. But are we sure we know what will happen if Watanuki loses?

[she is just a touch angry, but not enough to really let loose her petty side?! But her look is very serious.]

If I'm right, as long as we're here, Watanuki will never lose. He wouldn't have picked us otherwise. We need to find a different way to win.

As long as we're here... which is why Nirrti is whittling us down two at a time. If we were immortal, we might stand a chance.
