Another week dawned.

But after the events at the trial, more than a few people would have wanted for time to stop still.

In this game, even unshakable loyalties....could be broken.🗈

If that were the case, then what was stopping even more horrible crimes from happening this thursday night?
And they knew they could do nothing to stop it from happening.

...Still, they had to continue the game, until one or both of the Witches admitted defeat, or the game itself came to a close.

Yet, they also felt as if something might change. Some big reveal felt as if it was just around the corner....but for now, it seemed as if they had to play the waiting game.

No matter how awful that felt.

Honestly, I don't mind the Game the way it is now. But of course, having the Witch of Dimensions and Misfortune take over the universe would be a little bit inconvenient for me, too. So... like Sora said, maybe there's a third option?

I guess that's what we have to do. Witch terms are bad, human terms might not be better, so the only other option is neither.

Well...Nirrti wants something. She's making us suffer to get it. If she can get it easier without making us suffer, maybe we can get out of this? It's not exactly justice, but I'll take living over punishing the guilty if those are my options.

So what you mean is that we should change the way we fight in the trials, huh? It's not a bad idea, even if I don't know how many people here can wrap their heads around it.

Then again, justice is a weird concept anyway.
