WEEK 4 - VENUS FLYTRAP

Another week dawned.

But after the events at the trial, more than a few people would have wanted for time to stop still.

In this game, even unshakable loyalties....could be broken.🗈

If that were the case, then what was stopping even more horrible crimes from happening this thursday night?
And they knew they could do nothing to stop it from happening.

...Still, they had to continue the game, until one or both of the Witches admitted defeat, or the game itself came to a close.

Yet, they also felt as if something might change. Some big reveal felt as if it was just around the corner....but for now, it seemed as if they had to play the waiting game.

No matter how awful that felt.

Joey Jolyne sounds kind of weird... So maybe it's that one.

Yeah my full name would be pretty weird, huh? Opens up some good nickname choices, but you're right, I'm just Joey.

Nicknames? Oh, like Jojo!

[Truly Joey’s Bizarre Adventures are the next big thing.]

There are some pretty good nicknames. But come to think of it, where did Jolyne come from, anyway?

Yeah, I guess that would be one.

But uh, I just picked a name at random?

[Almost as if some external force attempted to force a name upon her for a joke, only for the universe to reject such an obvious ploy.]

Haha, you're pretty good at randomly picking names, I don't think I've even heard of Jolyne as a name before.

[Anon, unfortunately, does not get the reference -- but the meta does. The meta understands.]

So, what about the other two? You've had a more exciting life than I thought!
incrediblystressedout: (this is fine)

More like I get involved with exciting people, somehow.

Mom was a famous ballerina - probably one of the best in the 20th century. She's the main reason I took up dance, if that wasn't obvious.

As for the first aid, that was my first trip into Weird Stuff. I wound up on an alien planet and was getting stalked by this pure white deercat thing, and it turned out he'd been injured and the guy who normally takes care of him wasn't there. I managed to improvise my veterinarian knowledge with this book I found and a first aid kit, and that's pretty much that.
anonnomnomnom: (I'm not that great. Really!)

Well, I don't think there's a much more exciting group than us for a few zillion Fragments around here. I mean, if there is, I'd want to meet them.

That totally explains why you're a dancer, even if I probably haven't heard of your mother because I've never watched ballet at all. [he's just stating the facts!!] I don't think I've actually met any aliens, unless you want to count all the otherworld people I've met as aliens. But that sounds like a pretty impressive achievement?

I mean, it sounds like you saved an alien with some garbage lying around and some bits of string.

Also, milk. Had to calm the big guy down first. That was the worst part, honestly. You don't want to know about alien milk.

And yeah, ballet is kind of an acquired taste for most people. It's a really beautiful art form, though.

Is alien milk different from regular milk?

[Why would you ask, Anon, she told you not to??]

Haha, it's just more like... there isn't really ballet where I come from? There's dance, but not that kind.
