WEEK 4 - VENUS FLYTRAP

Another week dawned.

But after the events at the trial, more than a few people would have wanted for time to stop still.

In this game, even unshakable loyalties....could be broken.🗈

If that were the case, then what was stopping even more horrible crimes from happening this thursday night?
And they knew they could do nothing to stop it from happening.

...Still, they had to continue the game, until one or both of the Witches admitted defeat, or the game itself came to a close.

Yet, they also felt as if something might change. Some big reveal felt as if it was just around the corner....but for now, it seemed as if they had to play the waiting game.

No matter how awful that felt.

I didn't, just worked at making sure they grew.

[Anon seems to snap to attention, hands still behind his back and looking relatively proper for a split second before he's back to rummaging around the flowerbeds.

At least he can do that this week without too much poison everywhere.]

Well, I guess whoever picked them this week wasn't as much into poisonous plants. It's too bad... the poisonous ones were pretty interesting.

[ no poison, but maybe some minor snapping if his hands aren't too quick. or if he just wants to toy with the fly traps ]

All plants can be interesting! They might not look like it, but they're pretty complicated things.

It's really weird to get called mister, actually, even by the gardener. Just Anon is fine.

[Seriously, it's weird. Especially with this guy's face.

He's perfectly happy to let the plants snap at him, because... why not. It's not like it hurts.]

And I figured plants are complicated -- I can't raise any at all. I can't tell if they die because I suck at it or if they die because of my aura!

Wouldn't be proper if I called any of the Lady's invited guests as anything but Mister or Misses.

[ says that matter of factly ]

[He shakes his head briefly and then seems to perk up.]

Ah. What about if you call me 'Guest Anon'? Even that would work better!

And I mean that I have a black thumb. [he holds up his thumb for emphasis; it's not black] I can kill any plant if you give me enough time!

I suppose Guest Anon could work...

[ but makes a face at that thumb ]

Anyone can kill a plant if they have enough time! No one ever bothers to look up the proper way to care for plants!

And I've tried reading up on it, but I think plants just don't like me, the way animals don't.

I didn't think plants had instincts, though.
