WEEK 4 - VENUS FLYTRAP
Another week dawned.
But after the events at the trial, more than a few people would have wanted for time to stop still.
In this game, even unshakable loyalties....could be broken.🗈

If that were the case, then what was stopping even more horrible crimes from happening this thursday night?
And they knew they could do nothing to stop it from happening.
...Still, they had to continue the game, until one or both of the Witches admitted defeat, or the game itself came to a close.
Yet, they also felt as if something might change. Some big reveal felt as if it was just around the corner....but for now, it seemed as if they had to play the waiting game.
No matter how awful that felt.

Huh, what are these? [He kneels down to stare at the weird spiny leaves under this week's flowers. Blink, blink. Yep, these are some weird flowers. Wonder what happens when he pokes the reddish part of the leaves-]
GAH! [AND THE LEAVES CLAMP ON HIS ROBOT FINGER. OWCH. He tugs it loose easily enough, but good god.] WHAT THE BLOODY HELL- Did you see that?!? The bugger tried to bite my finger off!
[Wheatley. Wheatley you are nowhere near a fly. You will be fine.
Later, he's rooting through the games in the Rec Room. Specifically, he's pulled out a lot of party games. Mario Kart, Cards Against Humanity, a couple of games he hasn't really heard of but looked similar enough...]
Hm... Maybe this might work? I dunno... How about this one?
Garden
[Tateyama's kind smile is there, but Wheatley may notice it's a tad hollow, like she's masking she's mildly annoyed]
But you shouldn't be touching the fly traps. That can harm them.
no subject
Well, how was I supposed to know that?! Shouldn't there be a sign or something? For every time they change out the flowers?
[....]
Actually, I guess you know more about this place now that you're dead and probably brainwashed and/or demonic, so can I ask you why you keep changing out the flowers every week?
no subject
[Seriously, guests, being under the mistress' payroll doesn't make her soulless! It has taken a couple weeks, but this is starting to wear her down]
My mistress likes change. Surprising her constantly with new flowers is one of our ways to keep her pleased. [She smiles] Would you like any specific kind of flower, perhaps?
no subject
Hm... I dunno how well you guys can take requests, but it would be really nice to have another one of those... Remedial herbs? Like the one from two weeks ago? What was the name of that one?
no subject
[To her it sure is starting to seem like they don't]
Mugwort, perhaps? We did use to have mugwort as the central topic a couple weeks ago.
no subject
[Whelp.]
Yeah! Mugwort sounds perfect!

[That's what the cards are for, right? Nice of the manufacturer to clearly mark them.]

[He came here looking for a good time, and he's feeling attacked right now.]
Why would I want to? I mean, I wouldn't even exist if humans never did. It's only fair to let them go... Do human things. In peace.

That's what you're implying, isn't it? Here, I'll prove it!
[He turns the box around and starts reading the back of it.]
"Cards Against Humanity is a card game for horrible people..." Erm... Look, it's for humans to play, not that it excludes sentient robots. Or demons. Furniture. Witches- You get my point?
no subject
[Okay at this point she's absolutely just messing with him.]

[And like a moth to a flame, he falls for it.]

Eventually, he recovers a little bit more and comes over -- he's still snickering a little as he delicately places one finger in the Venus Flytrap himself, watching it close with bright eyes.]
Hahaha, you're way too excitable!
[Pot, kettle.... charcoal......]
... It's actually a pretty gentle plant, if you stop screaming for a second. As long as you don't leave your finger in there for too long, it shouldn't melt off.
[Did he go around sticking his finger into all the Venus Flytraps. Well, we can't confirm or deny but he sure seems to be speaking from experience.]
no subject
Wheatley winces as Anon willingly does the same thing he did and enjoys it.]
What are ya- Oh god, please. Take that out of there, if you know it's gonna melt your finger off.
no subject
Anyway, his grin widens when Wheatley winces, and he just kind of. Leaves his finger there for the moment.]
It's not going to melt my finger off right away. You should try it! It kind of tickles
Wait, can you be ticklish? You're a robot.
no subject
But STILL!
no subject
Actually, I wonder if we can do that even if we aren't robots.
[His thought process just. Works like this.]
no subject
[Anon's not entirely wrong, but...]
Right, about that? I have no idea if the goats have access to Foundation technology, so replacing a robot limb might be difficult. Though I guess if you wanted a wooden finger or something, there's more power to you.
rec room
Eh? Cards Against Humanity? Can you really use cards like that?
no subject
[Is this all people are gonna notice? The card game that makes him look like a horrible person?]
Look, all this game is... Is... [Squinting at the box again.] Is putting white cards next to black cards, and trying to be funny. Nothing that hurts humans, I promise.
no subject
Ah! I'm glad, I wasn't sure what kind of game it would be. Are you thinking of playing it with everyone?
no subject
Damnit, Clear.]
I- Uh- I dunno, maybe? There's probably something better around here to... Break the ice. And hopefully prevent more death. Somehow.
no subject
[ After his equally hushed reply, he folds his arms thoughtfully. ] I wonder what types of games are popular... I haven't played many before, though Koide-san seemed happy when he watched me play an arcade game about dolphins. Oh!
What if we get everyone together and take turns playing that?
no subject
[Clear said something?]
Koide-san? Who is that again?
