Another week dawned.

But after the events at the trial, more than a few people would have wanted for time to stop still.

In this game, even unshakable loyalties....could be broken.🗈

If that were the case, then what was stopping even more horrible crimes from happening this thursday night?
And they knew they could do nothing to stop it from happening.

...Still, they had to continue the game, until one or both of the Witches admitted defeat, or the game itself came to a close.

Yet, they also felt as if something might change. Some big reveal felt as if it was just around the corner....but for now, it seemed as if they had to play the waiting game.

No matter how awful that felt.

There's really no sense in going into a fight just to be miserable -- all you're doing is making it harder for yourself that way. I always want to give it my all, no matter what! And this is a real interesting fight, even compared to the ones I'm used to.

Since you're a Servant like Holmes, you probably get it, don't you?

I do, I do! I feel quite the same way - this sort of thing will be interesting to see go down. After all, a being like you has probably realized the lines between 'good' and 'evil' are more muddied here, yes?

Honestly, I've never thought of this Game in terms of good and evil in the first place. The only thing in the world that really separates people is strength -- that's what I think. Therefore, whoever is better at this Game will earn the right to win whatever it is they're after.

Of course, I still haven't decided who actually is better.

Ha! A perfectly fine outlook, if a bit limiting. But in that case, one of them will ultimately be the loser.

...But, I assume you're just fine with whatever consequences happen because of it, hmm?

Hahaha, is it limiting? I feel like good and evil is a lot more limiting than that, but maybe that depends on what kind of victory or loss you're looking for. Are you saying that we have to start redefining the terms of the Game or what?

[Sounds like a giant pain in the ass but then, luckily he never expected this Game to be straightforward.]

Because I would have thought the consequences of the Game were accepted from the start.
