WEEK 3 INVESTIGATION

Three weeks had gone by, and even with the other Witch being revealed, Friday came.

Waking up on this day began to feel like the prelude to something horrible.

To a horrible sight...and some kind of deep betrayal, knowing that one of them had ended the lives of someone they'd been speaking and laughing with just the day before...🗈

...But, they had no choice. This was the game, and it had to be played - set in motion by the pair of Witches.

No matter how they felt, they had to search, to gaze upon cruel death in it's many forms.

No matter....how dear the person once was to them, today...they would be nothing but a corpse to gleam clues from, in preparation for the trial.

And so...they had to push forward. Forward...to find a terrible truth.

Someone left tea out. Apparently there's a few tea bags missing, so I think that whoever was in here met with two other people. There's two chamomile missing and one valerian root bag missing. I don't know if someone got poisoned, though... [ Syaoran's going to go ahead and take another glance around to see if he can find any teacups, missing or otherwise. He's used to this kitchen by now, so he'll be checking any relevant cabinets and drawers for it if necessary. ]

[ . . . Hm, indeed. While he's checking, are there any other missing objects in the kitchen, or are we just suspiciously out of teacups? ]

[Nope! Just precisely two teacups are gone.]

Well, the whole garden is poisonous right now, and the forest is always poisonous, so I'd be surprised if it didn't happen sooner or later. Besides, poisoning the drinks is apparently a mystery classic.

[This is what happens when he starts reading mysteries. RIP.]

Maybe somebody got the idea from blue blood stuff in the book?

[As he's chattering away he is helping look, though. Anything unusual about yonder teapot?]

[Nope, it's an entirely normal teapot with cold water inside of it.]

[ ... Huh. Well, guess he's just going to go ahead and quickly make some onigiri for the others and be the emotional support doggo. ]
