Two weeks had gone by, and Friday had once again come.

As always, they woke up, knowing one of their number was now gone...
It was just a matter of finding their body, now.
No matter what the killer had done to it...a killer that was one of them.🗈

They would have to do that trial again...and would they get the killer right, this time? Or would they condemn another innocent person to die yet again?

...No matter how they felt, they had to search, had to find things that they didn't want to see, dodging the shadow of death.

That...was how this game was played, after all...

...But why...did it feel especially foreboding today...?

Tumeric's supposed to help with that. [ Not that you were asking shadow, but there you go. And while he doesn't let him get up close and personal, normal distance is fine—there's no blood smell, just the faint smell of the ocean. ]
