WEEK 2 INVESTIGATION

Two weeks had gone by, and Friday had once again come.

As always, they woke up, knowing one of their number was now gone...
It was just a matter of finding their body, now.
No matter what the killer had done to it...a killer that was one of them.🗈

They would have to do that trial again...and would they get the killer right, this time? Or would they condemn another innocent person to die yet again?

...No matter how they felt, they had to search, had to find things that they didn't want to see, dodging the shadow of death.

That...was how this game was played, after all...

...But why...did it feel especially foreboding today...?

[What a violent murder. Shadow steps into the room and looks around, taking in the information]

Ugh. I drank too much again... Alright... What do we know already?

Mmm, it really was a mess. Somebody killed Watanuki, and...

[He seems mildly regretful about relaying this information, which is probably the same as being sad that someone is dead. Maybe. Very maybe??]

They really went all out! He didn't seem like the kind of guy who was hard to kill. Oh, and Ruler was sleeping in here. Was he drinking with you last night?

I can see that. A... shame. Watanuki seemed like a kind individual. Perhaps he knew something he shouldn't have. And no. I drank alone.

[Shadow looks around. Erhard seems to be working with the body, so he'll check the surroundings. Aside from the scuff marks and the pool of blood... hmm..

Shadow checks the drawers in the desk]

[Well that's frustrating. Shadow climbs over the bed so as to avoid Erhard, then looks under the bed.... and, remembering how their lack of thoroughness might have hurt them last week, he checks between the mattress and the boxspring, too]

[he growls. EVIDENCE COCKBLOCKED!]

Oh! If you're stuck, there's this, and I'm pretty sure there are bullet holes under Watanuki somewhere? I don't know if Doc's looked at them already.

[Anon produces the Glock from his pocket. :)?]

[Shadow looks at the gun, then at Anon. He takes it carefully in his gloved hand]

Hmm...

[he makes sure that the gun is unloaded and that the safety is on before he examines it. Has it been fired recently?]

[He checks the magazine. How big is it and how many bullets are left?]

[It's an 8 round magazine, and 2 bullets are left.]

[he counts the bullet holes on the body and he can do simple math so that's all of them accounted for]

It can't be definitively proven without a microscope, but I suspect this gun fired those bullets.
