The day had ended on a rather solemn note, with not just one innocent dead, but two.

Both the Great Detective, Erika Furudo and the magical girl known as Cure Aqua, Karen Minazuki were killed in cold blood, and all that was left behind was a pool of blood that acknowledged their deaths. And yet, in spite of that, they had to move forward... 🗈

Of course, in spite of the lingering feeling that hung in the air, the possible suspicion that would probably stick through them for the rest of their stay here, if not for the rest of their lives.

Being used to death, he knew very well the sting of having blood on your own hands. He understood too well the consequences. But he didn't want people to simply just blame themselves for something that wasn't entirely their fault.

Which is why after a while, he goes on ahead to search people out to tell them that if they would prefer not to be alone, they can come to the dining room and that there will be food. For those who stay in their rooms, however, they'll find a neatly handwritten letter:

To the one who might read this:

We're dealing with a difficult time and I know that because of this turn of events, that people might start to distrust one another and even make the decision to not face the future. But I don't want to hide and run away from our present; I want all of us to face the reality and change the future so that it isn't a sad one. I'm certain that the two that we lost would not want that from us, either.

Feel free to meet me in the dining room if you wish to mourn, or if you'd wish to not face all of this alone. Nobody deserves to be alone on a day like this. Food will be provided. Don't force yourself to come, though.

Set up in the dining area are a lot of various comfort foods - a lot of soup based dishes, kebabs, hot pots, you name it. Even if the times are difficult, especially with the results, at the very least there's a small glimmer hope, right...?

[While Syaoran is recovering the bits and pieces of his dignity, Anon's letting out a wild laugh at the expression on his face.]

If you're going to come to the beach, you'd better be prepared!

[Is the beach like his territory or something. Fushigi mystery......

That being said, when Syaoran moves to dodge, there's a pleased look on his face. It's totally no fun if he doesn't at least try. So have Anon chasing him down with the water balloon, looking for an opening!]

[ HIS DIGNITY IS STILL MORE INTACT THAN HIS FATHER'S......... ]

I didn't know that this would happen, though!

[ Thankfully, Syaoran is now on the defensive and is rather fast on his feet as he tries to escape all of this. ]

[His father isn't here so that totally doesn't count.]

Hahaha, that just means you haven't been to the ocean enough. What a slacker!

[Syaoran is like the opposite of a slacker but Anon's definition is a little different.

Speaking of different, he's going to watch Syaoran's trajectory and then... throw the water balloon in his way. So either 1: he will run into it, or 2: he will run into the wet sand where it just exploded and have to watch his footing. There's also 3: he manages to dodge the above, but then there's Anon to deal with still. Pick your own adventure while Anon goes in for a tackle??!]

That might be true, but that doesn't mean I don't know how deal with the water!

He's actually quick on his feet given that due to the length of his legs, he can actually make jumps around the area, which means that his footsteps are actually really light. It makes it obvious that he's definitely a fighter. ]

Ooh, that's a rabbit! That's what they call a rabbit! But...

[Since Syaoran is going to be hopping around all over the place and Anon is currently out of water balloons, he spends a moment of pause just watching delightedly. Then he's moving again, because two can play at this game!

So I guess they're just jumping around like morons now. This turned into Beach Platformer With Extra Trash Talk.]

... rabbits are also pretty easy to catch!

[He's going for the pounce! Again!]

And it's solely because he is that he backflips out of the way. ]

[I guess he's also going to yell out compliments as he goes.

And what he goes for is the nearest unoccupied towel, swinging it over at Syaoran's ankles to try and trip him up. Hey, all's fair in water and war.]

I had a lot of training.

[ He says that and while it does manage to catch one of his ankles, he has two of them so he can use that to attempt to spin a bit to get the towel off. ]

I think most of us did, but you're still fast!

[Syaoran can spin-spin-spin like a Beyblade to get the towel off but the good(?) news is that Anon is no longer on the other end of that towel. He's a couple steps over and already readying another water balloon (where did it come from) and is lbbing it straight at Syaoran while he's still spinning.]

Shit-!

[ Yeah he's not going to dodge that in time, rest in pieces, he's dead by water balloon. ]

[He's just going to add insult to injury by adding... sand! Syaoran is going to become a semi-sand sculpture if he doesn't get moving before Anon piles ALL THE SAND on him.]

You gotta pay more attention to your surroundings and your opponent's movements, silly.
