All of the guests awoke in their rooms, just like they had before.

Yesterday had been a day of surprises.
First, they'd finally met the person who had brought them here - the Witch of Dimensions, Yuuko.
Secondly, they'd learned they were going to be playing a horrible game.
And most important, they learned that wishes could be granted if they won this game.🗈

Still, for now, it seemed like there wasn't much to do. Was the Witch already in talks with the 'Murderer'? Was the 'victim' already decided upon?

There was no way to know until some day later this week, apparently.

Still, it wasn't all bad. The island was beautiful and the climate just perfect for beachgoing, or taking a cosy walk in the garden. There were also board and card games which would be produced upon request - and the tv in the Sitting Room - to help ease the boredom of it all.

Though, perhaps the guests would prefer to get to know each other instead? On maybe get into some trouble as they roamed the island.

Despite being told someone will die, it...felt remarkably peaceful. Could one of their own really be able to kill someone?

...Or, maybe...this is just the silence that comes just before a massive storm breaks, and sweeps away everything...

Well, it's definitely dangerous, but it's just an island. If I had to, I could just climb a tree and figure out where I am! One of the good trees, anyway.

[Let's not pull a Takumi in the middle of the forest, RIP.

He pauses, though, and peers a little closer at Makoto's face. Hmhmm.]

It's just because it's an unfamiliar place. After some time I would get used to it.

[If she sounds a bit defensive is because she is. She doesn't want to give the impression she's helpless]

I guess that depends on how fast you can get used to it, and how much time we all have. It's going to be a race, you know?

And you're definitely starting at a disadvantage with those eyes of yours.

It doesn't take long. I'm pretty good at memorizing and learning.

Well, I look forward to seeing how long you can survive. Maybe you'll surprise all of us? You could be one of the dark horses. It would be pretty great.

None of us ever intend to die. But none of us intended to be here, either.

[He doesn't seem to be especially impressed with her resolve at the moment!

Though, it's really just commentary, rather than argumentation.]

Depending on how this Game goes... you could either try your best to make yourself useful, or you could do your best to keep your head down and not draw any attention. Right now, nobody knows which is safer!
