All of the guests awoke in their rooms, just like they had before.

Yesterday had been a day of surprises.
First, they'd finally met the person who had brought them here - the Witch of Dimensions, Yuuko.
Secondly, they'd learned they were going to be playing a horrible game.
And most important, they learned that wishes could be granted if they won this game.🗈

Still, for now, it seemed like there wasn't much to do. Was the Witch already in talks with the 'Murderer'? Was the 'victim' already decided upon?

There was no way to know until some day later this week, apparently.

Still, it wasn't all bad. The island was beautiful and the climate just perfect for beachgoing, or taking a cosy walk in the garden. There were also board and card games which would be produced upon request - and the tv in the Sitting Room - to help ease the boredom of it all.

Though, perhaps the guests would prefer to get to know each other instead? On maybe get into some trouble as they roamed the island.

Despite being told someone will die, it...felt remarkably peaceful. Could one of their own really be able to kill someone?

...Or, maybe...this is just the silence that comes just before a massive storm breaks, and sweeps away everything...

[For most of the day, Gebura can be found in the Ballroom, doing nothing but pacing around and muttering to herself.

Later on in the day however, one can find her in the library, having a staring contest with a goat, who is... Eating something? Wait, the goat appears to be eating... The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. In spite of the goat slowly eating the book, neither of the two break eye contact.]

I know what you're doing, don't think I'll let you get away with this.

[...Gebura appears to wince slightly whenever the goat takes a bite for some reason, however.]

Hell if I know. It took it out of my hand and started eating it in front of me.

[Gebura also has a pencil in her other hand, but surely that's not related at all.

...She winces at another bite.]

It's also making a mental attack whenever it takes a bite somehow.

...Yeah, that's about what I expected for a response. Has it been doing any mental damage? Do you feel your emotions working in ways they're not supposed to?

Hm, so it's only targeted towards me... That's concerning, but I suppose if it's not affecting anyone else, it's fine for the time being.

In that case... did you do something to make the goat mad?

I'm not sure how I'm supposed to know if I did or not. I don't think I've picked a fight with one yet.

Well, if it's eating the book... did you do anything to it?

I don't think I did much to it, I was just putting down some notes on a possible connection between it and the Forgotten Abnormalities.

That might be it, then. You're not normally supposed to write notes on books borrowed from a library.

[...There's a brief pause here as she processes this. The only libraries she can recall were the ones in Lobotomy, and every single book there was covered in notes, sometimes to the point of unreadability.]

No, not that, the library thing. If that's the case, I think Lobotomy's been doing libraries wrong for over 10 years.

Yeah, I'm pretty certain.

Mm... Looks like I was in the wrong this time, then... What would be the proper compensation in this kind of case?

I'm honestly not sure. Especially given what this case is.
