All of the guests awoke in their rooms, just like they had before.

Yesterday had been a day of surprises.
First, they'd finally met the person who had brought them here - the Witch of Dimensions, Yuuko.
Secondly, they'd learned they were going to be playing a horrible game.
And most important, they learned that wishes could be granted if they won this game.🗈

Still, for now, it seemed like there wasn't much to do. Was the Witch already in talks with the 'Murderer'? Was the 'victim' already decided upon?

There was no way to know until some day later this week, apparently.

Still, it wasn't all bad. The island was beautiful and the climate just perfect for beachgoing, or taking a cosy walk in the garden. There were also board and card games which would be produced upon request - and the tv in the Sitting Room - to help ease the boredom of it all.

Though, perhaps the guests would prefer to get to know each other instead? On maybe get into some trouble as they roamed the island.

Despite being told someone will die, it...felt remarkably peaceful. Could one of their own really be able to kill someone?

...Or, maybe...this is just the silence that comes just before a massive storm breaks, and sweeps away everything...

[ Well there's only one way to find that out. How strong and fast is Makoto really? Cause Natsuno's going to attempt to grab that cane-dagger right from her. He has both strength and speed that don't match his spindly frame, but his last meal was a while ago and he still feels somewhat off on this island. ]

[The sudden movement startles Makoto, so she steps back. She grasps the cane tightly, and pulls to the other side. Her stance is surprisingly steady, her arm strength is pretty good thanks to being a massage therapist, and it seems she's trying to keep Natsuno far enough from her without letting go from the cane.

Looks like she's way more into defensive stances instead of offensive ones. The Foundation helped her in terms of strength and technique, but in the end, she still is a young human who before that wasn't that experienced. Within a minute or so Natsuno should be able to take the cane away from her.

Still, a minute is a rather long time to be in a struggle over an object, isn't it? A lot can happen in a minute]

[ Stamina isn't a problem, and he actually waits for her to tire out rather than exert more brute force to overpower her. He's annoyed by the end of it, though at himself. He really needs to eat something, tch. ]

Better than I thought. You might have time to yell for help, but if anyone would come running is another story entirely. [ Also he's keeping this cane for now, slowly turning it over in his hands. ]

[The cane is of usual Foundation quality: pretty good, sharp and sturdy. Still, it's...pretty generic, unlike what you'd think a Foundation would provide. Must be because it's based on something Makoto once owned]

I'd be looking for a way to run away myself, if I lose my cane. I was told injuring your attacker can give you enough time to run if you hit the right spot.

[ Kinda makes sense with the foundation, only because Natsuno doesn't trust them at all. The gun they provided him with was useful, but he'd still rather use his own strength most of the time. ]

You'll get an edge on them, yeah. But they still might be faster than you. What would you do then? [ He slams the cane into the ground—not hard enough to break it but enough to make a bang. ]

[Makoto, startled, steps back a bit. That's a bit disorienting even if she knows that likely was her cane]

...I'm not sure. Running is difficult when you're... [Well. Blind. Walking is one thing, running as fast as possible is another] I would have to use anything I could get my hands on to fight back or gain some time.

[She'd have to get lucky, pretty much]

Hn. Catch. [ And then tossing her back the cane, because that's enough of a warning as far as he's concerned. ]

If you freeze up, it's over.

[The cane collides against her, but she catches it afterwards. Rude, Natsuno]

I know. Keep fighting and moving until it's over.

[One way or another. Hopefully 'over' in a way that isn't her death]

[ He gave her a warning, psh. Stepping back and disengaging then, apparently satisfied with her answers. After a moment, he speaks up again. ]

Now all you have to do is not forget that. [ He pauses here, realizing that despite their two distinct interactions that he doesn't know her name. Far be it from him to ask, but the silence might be enough indication for her to catch on. ]
