All of the guests awoke in their rooms, just like they had before.

Yesterday had been a day of surprises.
First, they'd finally met the person who had brought them here - the Witch of Dimensions, Yuuko.
Secondly, they'd learned they were going to be playing a horrible game.
And most important, they learned that wishes could be granted if they won this game.🗈

Still, for now, it seemed like there wasn't much to do. Was the Witch already in talks with the 'Murderer'? Was the 'victim' already decided upon?

There was no way to know until some day later this week, apparently.

Still, it wasn't all bad. The island was beautiful and the climate just perfect for beachgoing, or taking a cosy walk in the garden. There were also board and card games which would be produced upon request - and the tv in the Sitting Room - to help ease the boredom of it all.

Though, perhaps the guests would prefer to get to know each other instead? On maybe get into some trouble as they roamed the island.

Despite being told someone will die, it...felt remarkably peaceful. Could one of their own really be able to kill someone?

...Or, maybe...this is just the silence that comes just before a massive storm breaks, and sweeps away everything...

[ Nodding and skimming through the book selection himself. ]

Yuuki or Koide. Either one, just not both. [ Here's where a normal person would ask for the other person's name but Natsuno will continue to be himself. ]

Yuuki-san, then. [ a beat ] Er, I'm Sakura.

[ Nod. Again, he's more content with the silence than speaking, but after a beat or two he speaks up. ]

Do you know if they have any books about witches and dragons here?

Like fantasy novels? Let me think...I like to read classic novels, mostly, so you might have read these before.

[ She ponders it for a minute before walking behind him and grabbing a few books off a shelf she can actually reach

One is a novelization about the Salem witch trials, another is about the Bell Witch, and the third is a broody-looking fantasy novel with a dragon on the cover. Spooky! ]

[ Out of all these, he reaches for the one with the dragon first. ]

Yeah. Someone asked me to look into something and I've got to start somewhere.

Oh, then maybe not these.

[ She goes back and picks out a few more to replace the witch books. ]

Yeah, Sora. I never really read fantasy books, but it seems like the best place to start when dealing with witches. [ Which makes you wonder why he grabbed the dragon book of all things... ]

Is it a good idea to use fiction as a basis for this, though? I mean, it's not a bad idea to start, but...

...is there a non-fiction book about them? [ It's impossible to tell whether he's asking this question seriously or sarcastically . ]

Not in this library, it seems. But is there something you wanted to know? I do come from a world that has magic.

I guess if one was really good at transformation magic, they could.

That's what happens in Sleeping Beauty? [ He's heard of it, but he's never actually read it. Fantasy and horror both aren't really his thing. ]
