All of the guests awoke in their rooms, just like they had before.

Yesterday had been a day of surprises.
First, they'd finally met the person who had brought them here - the Witch of Dimensions, Yuuko.
Secondly, they'd learned they were going to be playing a horrible game.
And most important, they learned that wishes could be granted if they won this game.🗈

Still, for now, it seemed like there wasn't much to do. Was the Witch already in talks with the 'Murderer'? Was the 'victim' already decided upon?

There was no way to know until some day later this week, apparently.

Still, it wasn't all bad. The island was beautiful and the climate just perfect for beachgoing, or taking a cosy walk in the garden. There were also board and card games which would be produced upon request - and the tv in the Sitting Room - to help ease the boredom of it all.

Though, perhaps the guests would prefer to get to know each other instead? On maybe get into some trouble as they roamed the island.

Despite being told someone will die, it...felt remarkably peaceful. Could one of their own really be able to kill someone?

...Or, maybe...this is just the silence that comes just before a massive storm breaks, and sweeps away everything...

Let's get going, then. Hopefully they have the ingredients in the fridge.

Syaoran-kun is the best. Okay. Let's make some crepes! That way, I don't have to ask the goatmen to do it. Let's go!

[she heads into the kitchen, not waiting on him, she's too ready]

We'll need to find flour, eggs, and some milk.

Hmm~ Okay. I'll look for the flour. The rest should be one one convenient location.

[she starts searching the cupboards]

Thanks for doing this. I really needed a distraction after yesterday.

[ He'll go ahead and do that as she searches for the flour, making things a little easier on them. ]

And it's really no problem. The goats might be able to cook, but there's something about being able to make things with your own hands that's... fulfilling, I guess. And after everything that's happened the last two days, I understand wanting a distraction, too. By the way, was there anything in particular you wanted in these? If we're going for dessert, I would probably recommend ice cream and fruit.

[she thinks very seriously about this as she finally finds the baking cabinet and says,]

Whipped cream, chocolate and strawberries!

Alright, that should be easy enough. I think I can make something good with that. So we'll need four eggs, one cup of milk, four ounces of flour. And a little bit of oil and we mix it together for the batter.

Any kind of oil, or should we be avoiding strong flavors?

[she's not a complete newb, at least!]

We don't want any strong flavors since the oil is only used to soften the crepes, and not too much.

That's what I thought.

Hmm, so a simple vegetable oil?

Yeah, that would work perfectly, actually. You want to go ahead and grab that? I'll even let you pour it in.

Yep! I found some right here!

[she pulls back from the cabinet.]

So, how much am I pouring in, chef?

[excavated]

Just a little bit, so probably a little under a teaspoon.

[fullbodied]

Hmm...

[she pulls off the cap, and pours into that, as her measurement. only half full.]

This enough?

Yeah, that's perfect, actually.

[ He nods in response, smiling brightly. ]

[oh, she looks quite pleased with that, then. and she plants a hand on her hip.]

Okay, what's next? I'm gonna have to practice a lot, but i'm ready.

Now that we have everything, we need to whisk the flour with about half of the amount of milk that we have... and then pour the rest of the liquid in and then mix it again.

Alright.

So, we need some mixing bowls, right? I can try and find some.

Yeah. I'm not sure if there are any, but try the cabinets...? And if there's anything you can't reach, I can go grab it.

[she's 5'6! she can surely reach a lot. But she's going to try looking near the oven first, just to see.

eventually, she's able to find a set of metal mixing bowls.]

[well, now she's just throwing everything in, basically exactly as he says. She's a good, albeit airheaded student. it's fine! it's fine.]

Alright... do you know how to use a whisk?

Yeah. You just stir, right?

You mostly want to prioritize going from side to side instead of just stirring it in circles, actually. It's the best way to whisk.
