MOCK ROUND - WEEK 2 TRIAL
It was noon on Friday.
No matter where they were, no matter what they were doing...the moment the chimes rang out through the hall, they felt a change.
The world began to expand, as they felt themselves leaving the world they were on, and towards the world they'd experienced once before. 🗈

Perhaps on another plane, in another place, someone else heard music as they gazed upon the proceedings.
Their forms, just like before, were different now. This was less shocking than it was last time, and yet...
...There was a deep silence in the room, one that no one wanted to break. It was the faint tension in the air, like the moments before a race or a competition begins.
Only this time....this was the last time they would be competing. This was the final week...and the final chance they had at securing their wishes - while denying someone theirs.
...Just a little more to go.

[ comes his totally BIASED opinion but shh ]

[ Look, new name or something. He'll just go over there to check him out. ]
no subject
That sounds like a bit much.

Let's try to cast cure on that bruise on Riku's face it may not work, or it might be weaker than it is, but he's giving it a shot anyways. ]
More than Mr. Good Looking?
[ And with that he'll just put a hand on him. ]
Hey, do you think we'll remember this?

[ He'll shake his head, trying to chase away the blush. Why are you like this, Jack.
Ah, the way he's phrasing the rest, but...surprisingly, he nods. ]
I don't think Lambdadelta would allow us to forget something like the easily. It'll hurt her pride, likely enough.
[ But...
The chances of them seeing each other again? He doesn't think it likely.
He raises a hand, but he just. Lets it drop. ]
But what's more likely is that it'll be awhile before we meet again.

[ Maybe... maybe if their wishes can come true. Maybe he can get a next and they can meet again some day.
But that's a lot of maybes and futures he can't really see. ]
Haha, it's kind of a bummer actually.
[ It kind of hurts actually and he's not really sure why he's feeling this or what's the right thing to do in this moment. ]
Was starting to hope maybe we could be friends at least.
[ At least. ]

[ He turns his head slightly to look back at Jack, and the smile's become a little more painful. His hand moves again, this time resting gently on the one the blond placed upon him. ]
I'd thought we were already friends. Or, maybe that was just me?
[ His voice there sounds a touch teasing. But, his heart's heavy - Sora's always been the one better at making friends than he was. He'd been wondering if he ever could anymore, given the way he was - not always so approachable, distant. In the end...he was the one who was really lacking, wasn't he?
But...it doesn't take away that he'll miss some of the people here. ]
no subject
Hey, yeah. I guess we already were.
[ Friendship isn't something he's well versed in, even with all the jokes. Holding his gaze, while he makes his knowing tag appear. ]
Want to hold on to something for me? You know, until next time we can meet?
no subject
Heh. Yeah, I can do that. I'm guessing it's insurance so that we'll cross paths again, isn't it?
[ It's a simple thing, holding onto something for someone else again. Until they meet again... ]
no subject
Pretty much.
[ Going to just put it into one of Riku's ridiculous pockets. There's a lot of those, Riku. ]
I still have to keep surprising you and show you my other hidden talents, right?
[ There's an undercurrent of warmth there. ]
no subject
Something like that. But, I don't mind - surprises can be good.
[ Riku reaches into his pockets that Jack had place, and takes it out so he can see it clearly. Just you know, out of curiosity. ]
What are these? Military tags?
no subject
[ Maybe if he makes it sound like it's not a big deal, Riku won't think so? ]

Along with Takashi, remember? I hid the weapon in his room, while leaving yours out in the open and in a place you'd probably miss.
