[ Though Gilgamesh wouldn't presume to know Hikage in the end as he really was...at the very least, he wouldn't be surprised if either of those things were true in the end in some way, shape, or form. Even if these were mere presumptions, foolish or no. ]

He's not the first one who would've gone down that path that leads towards surrounding oneself in lies, and to deny the bonds that've been made in the end.

But, he deserves no pity, even if that is the case.
