[ First, it was Hikage, who had seemed to be someone other than this hateful thing that was shown through the trial. Though Gilgamesh knew that they were to likely die, indeed he had idly wondered on that phrase, "None of you mean anything to me, and you never have."

As cruel as he had been, the phrase was in the back of his head, even as he watched quietly when Hikage's blood met with the floor. He'd never have said they were friends, because there was only one person who occupied that space. He'd really have never said that, and would've denied such things, but...

How much of Date's execution he watched due to it was debatable, but he was probably paying minimal attention. Though he suddenly wasn't interested with watching that either. At this point, it felt like the creature would be getting off too much to their despair, and ... there's that strange feeling when people you're used to speaking with on a consistent basis die. Though it's not something he's unaccustomed to, it's just...

He'll try not to think too hard about it. He'll turn to see what the others were doing after his own delay, before even thinking of leaving (and then eventually, leave.) ]
