Week 2, Saturday

[Just like before, everyone is invited to the stage area for the game. This time, though, there is one empty seat- the one that would have been for Azula. In the place where she would have been sitting is a single sunflower.

...hm. An odd choice of flower. Oh well.

Dazai is up on stage as well. Gone is the genuine joy he experienced yesterday at the water balloon fight. It's replaced by the forced smile he always wears during these games. It seems he has gotten better at getting right down to business.]

Welcome back everyone! It's good to see that you are all here in one piece.

As was the case last week, the murder deal is no longer on the table. Too bad, you missed out! So now we're going to play a game to keep busy today. I hope you're ready for Murder Trivia Party!

The way this game is played is simple: each team will be given a buzzer with four options on it. I will read a multiple-choice question and each team will be able to select their team's answer. If you are correct, then your team is safe! If you are incorrect, then your team has to go to the killing floor.

[Dazai pauses and taps his chin thoughtfully.]

...I suppose that title is a bit of a misnomer, though. It's more of a platform than a floor. Oh well!

Everyone on the killing floor will need to participate in a game. If you survive the game, then good job! You get to continue on! If you don't survive your game, though...

[He draws a line across his neck with his finger.]

I think you get what happens.

Remember: you must complete the games, and don't let me catch you helping other contestants with your powers! If you break either of those two rules, I'm supposed to execute you immediately.

If you have any questions, feel free to raise your hand and ask. If not, then we'll go ahead and start the game.

...oh, but I suppose we should even things up a bit. After all, Orange team lost a member this week. So!

[A prinny brings out a tray with five cups of wine on it.]

One of these cups is poisoned, the rest are not. You are not required to drink, but up to one person from each team may drink one, draining the cup fully.

I won't leave you without a reward, though! For each cup drained, the final round will be significantly easier to survive. Do you take the risk now in hopes that it pays off later? Or do you pass on those odds to see what you get in the final game?

Speak up quickly! The first to volunteer gets to pick their cup first. And remember, only one volunteer per team!
